Formations designed, fabricated, and installed 6,000 square feet of interpretive and educational exhibits at The Nature Center at Santa Ysabel’s Open Space Preserve in Julien, California.

State-of-the-art interactives and an AV slideshow help visitors connect to the outdoors, promoting stewardship of this unique region by educating learners of all ages about the geological and human interactions that formed the area, and the rare flora and fauna that have managed to adapt and thrive there.

The sustainably designed project sits upon 84 acres of environmentally sensitive land. Using an integrative approach for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience, visitors are encouraged to wander the interpretive trail exploring one of Earth’s top-ten biodiversity hotspots.
